Traceability

Traceability is an important aspect of sustainability.

The term is well used, but what does it actually mean? Generally it means that every stage of production and transport of each individual batch of goods can be fully traced back to the acquisition of all the raw materials. Using the example of fishmeal, we have illustrated these stages in an interactive chart. This makes it clear what an enormous logistical challenge lies behind this seemingly simple term. Our stable network, developed over decades, has enabled us to meet this challenge for decades – long before customers and international standards demanded it. Scroll along the chart to track back through each individual step.
